As CEO of Eagran, Kate Motonaga brings the perspective of an executive who has led both the financial and operating sides of complex businesses. Her career includes CFO and COO leadership, global operations, and enterprise transformation across Fortune 500, privately held, founder-led, and private equity-backed companies.
That experience shapes how Kate leads Eagran and works with CEOs, boards, owners, and investors. She understands the financial implications of business decisions, but also what it takes to execute those decisions across an organization. Her work has spanned growth, capital allocation, liquidity, operating performance, risk, restructuring, and organizational change.
Kate is particularly skilled at seeing the connections across a business, especially when the numbers, operating reality, and management assumptions are not aligned. She brings financial rigor, operating judgment, and a practical approach to helping leaders understand what is happening, decide what needs to change, and deliver results.
